Menu for Ávextir

I was given the Desktop Publishing task of designing a menu for my coffee shop website to make the coding easier and make the final website look more professional. To do this I first used the Master Page to set up the background, heading banner and footer signature. I used AutoShapes, a text box and the image tool to create these taking design inspiration from other menus I found online.

Next with the help of a coffee nerd friend we created the coffee menu on the first page ensuring it would appeal to the coffee fanatics out there. I then added a simple tea section at the end of the first page and then as what I had planned to create was a coffee & smoothie shop website so the second page would start with a smoothie menu in which each smoothie was teamed with an adorable ai created animal made out of the fruit that makes up the smoothie. Next I added a small section for fresh juices for those looking for a healthier option to cola or other fizzy drinks. To keep the coffee shop theme I tamed my impulse to add a full food menu and scaled this down to a “Light Bites” menu featuring a range of dishes that I felt would suit the coffee shop I was designing. I finished off by inserting some ai generated images of coffee, tea and the fruit animals.
