Over the past week I received my results for my UAL Games Design and Development which was Distinction and my good news continued as I received confirmation of my place at The University of Staffordshire.

A few key factors drew me to Staffordshire 24/7 labs to do work in was a major factor along with the long list of accreditations and accolades that I learned about at an open day I went to earlier in the year. I did learn of another open day the Saturday after results day. While I was at the event I took some pictures of a presentation they did on themselves. After the presentation they took us up to one of their labs and showed us a framework of a game. A 3D top down robot shooter and showed us how to import and edit the colour of assets, I may have however go distracted looking at the blueprints of the game trying to work backwards on how they developed the game. While doing this I found a persistent damage area which is something I was struggling with in my Level 3 FMP however, I was told by a lecturer what they had done was an inefficient way of doing it.
