Version 4
I experimented with some ai to extend the music track I had and found a nice end section that I used to replace the horn I had before which I feel greatly improves the audio transition at 31 seconds in.
Version 5
This version was more about tightening the entire trailer up to sand off rough edges and make it more professional but in doing this I found I didn’t like the look of the title card or the end card so one of my tasks for the next iterations is to look at how to improve them. I also added a glass breaking sound effect and used Adobe Audition to edit it and have it play then play in reverse to create the divine pulse sound effect I wanted.
Version 6
I worked in Adobe After Effects to create a new end card when the parts fade in and also match the thumbnail I have created in photoshop although I feel this could be improved further. I have improved the “five years later” audio transition by letting one part fade and let the subsequent piano start earlier making the transition better and trailer more cohesive. I also found a better part of the piano track playing after the “five years later” transition that tapered off nicely and worked better overall. I intend to learn After Effects more to create a better end card and maybe other parts of the trailer.
